Independent party Matter secured 14 out of the 18 positions in the College of Science Student Council (CSSC).
Matter standard bearers Sean Aquilino and Beatriz Eusebio, sole candidates for chairperson and vice chairperson respectively, garnered majority, or 50 percent plus one, of the total votes cast.
Five of the elected CS councilors are also from Matter. The lone candidate for councilor of the Student Alliance for the Advancement of Democratic Rights in UP-CS (STAND-UP CS), Napoleon Pempeña filled the sixth position of councilorwith 447 votes.
