Ateneo is trailed by the University of the Philippines (UP) Maroons in Group A with 5 wins and 1 loss. UP clinched its quarterfinals spot last Saturday by defeating the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA (UPHSD).
The other teams in Group A have the following records: De La Salle University (3-1), San Beda College (2-1), Arellano University (2-3), Colegio San Juan de Letran (1-3), University of Perpetual Help (0-3) and Emilio Aguinaldo College (0-5).
